Rethinking the ARTIST / DJ Relationship
How RMG Digital Works:
Our RMG Digital Service places Your Music into the hands of our Broadcast Radio Stations, Internet Stream Providers and Digital DJ's, in the form of MP3 Files. Our Registered Programmers have exclusive, password protected access to our online database of Broadcast Quality MP3 files from participating Independent Artists. Offered For Promotional Use Only, these files are made available to any broadcaster or DJ, royalty free.
Select Clients may also purchase our complete RMG Digital Promotion Package, which includes Personal Promotion by Relax Music Group staff, and inclusion in all of our Promotion and Marketing communication. Your Digital Files will be personally mentioned to every Music Director, Program Director, and DJ in our database, which grows on a daily basis. In addition, you will receive WEEKLY AIRPLAY TRACKING REPORTS that You can follow up on for Booking and Gigs!
Our growing database of Registered Programmers includes more than 400 College, Public and Commercial Broadcast and Internet Radio Stations. Many of these stations offer their Broadcast Signal online as well, giving your music the opportunity to be heard Online and On-The-Air. We provide follow up with every station that confirms with us they have added your song to their playlist through this campaign.
All of the artists we select to participate in RMG Digital, will be reviewed personally by our Management and Promotion staff. We do not charge independent artists and bands to review your music. We do ask that we have your Complete Contact information and link to your MySpace page. If you do not have a MySpace Music page, you are ineligible to participate in this program, as your Music File (that we store on our server), and your MySpace Music Page are the only links available to our database of programmers. Your MySpace page will be the only means for our programmers to learn more about Your Band, Your Music, and have Direct Contact with you.
We maintain complete editorial/programming control over the artists and songs we select for RMG Digital. If we select Your Music, one or more of our Executive Staff have personally approved your song for inclusion in our database. This is not another social networking site, nor is it open to any artist with a song and some money. We feel that Relax Music Group will only represent the very best Independent Music available, and target it to programmers that are in need of Cool New Music. This also allows us to establish a working relationship with you, to further explore the Marketing, Management and Promotion opportunities available to you through Relax Music Group.
Our Music Database is open to artists from the following genres:

We limit the number of new artists that can offer their music in our database to 50 per month in each genre. We also limit the availability of our RMG Digital Promotion service to just a handful from each genre. This is an exclusive service that exists to make your music stand out above the oversaturation found on other music and social networking sites.
Purchasers at either level of service will have their songs played on our own IRMG Internet Radio Station. Available through our web site to anyone with internet access, our IRMG stream features regular daily programming from the following genres: Alternative Rock, Adult Alternative (Triple A), Loud Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Techno, Americana, Jazz, Blues, and Reggae. IRMG is also available as a 24/7 music service to select regions of Second Life. Up to 250 people have access to our stream at any given time, allowing us to give your music exclusive airplay to an entirely new audience. IRMG also have Live DJ's that spin music regularly to audiences and clubs in Second Life. In addition to our IRMG broadcasting service playing your music directly to a Live, Interactive Audience, there are hundreds, if not thousands of DJ's working for various clubs throughout Second Life. These specific DJ's and Programmers in SL are targeted with an on going marketing campaign, encouraging them to become registered members and gain access to your music. Your Song(s) will be available to a knowledgeable and enthuiastic segement of a growing music community, both online and off. As our Registered Membership continues to grow, so do your opportunities for airplay and exposure to a vast and otherwise unreachable audience.
